WLP are experts in handling the tendering process for catering, cleaning, security and other specialist categories, either for single clients and services or as multiple tenders for groups of organisations and combined services.

Our experience and knowledge of the marketplace means
cost-effective and truly independent advice and support to suit each particular circumstance.

Working independently or within a framework agreement, our role is to help you clearly identify your requirements and how best to meet them, then orchestrate and oversee the tender process based on agreed goals.

Designed and managed to ensure you make the right decisions at every stage, the whole process never loses sight of your specific qualitative and financial objectives. As measure of our commitment to agreed goals, our management fee includes as standard drafting the Service Level Agreement with the appointed contractor and monitoring service levels for the first term of the contract’s operation. All tenders are managed through the Multiquote portal.

While no two projects are ever the same, the basic principles are constant:

  • Optimising the tender specification for clarity and filtering
  • Advising on appropriate applicant suppliers for consideration
  • Further filtering by demonstrating client’s service, practices, objectives & culture
  • Specification and analysis of financial & management proposals
  • Arranging presentations by shortlisted applicants
  • Visits to sites managed by the preferred contractor for final assessment
  • Preparation of terms & conditions, service level agreements & KPIs

Integral to our service are two key disciplines.

 Contract Review and Best Value Analysis

Essential to stimulate an environment of continual improvement for all parties involved with the provision of a service, a review of current services and consideration of key client objectives can be used as a benchmark to both promote and determine a continuation of Best Value. This may lead to a Full Tendering exercise, or the setting of new Service Level Agreements and KPI’s with the existing service provider.

 

Contract Monitoring

WLP’s Contract Monitoring Service ensures all parties remain committed to the core objectives and standards of service delivery. Chairing regular meetings (normally quarterly) between you and your contractor, we provide a full audit of service provision against the Service Level Agreement and KPI’s, an essential resource for benchmarking and ensuring continuation of best value throughout the contract term.
